How it works
We’ll meet our guides in downtown Ålesund and get fitted with all the necessary equipment. After a safety briefing, we’ll paddle out onto the water for an unforgettable kayaking tour of the city, stopping at several locations for photos.
Dating back to the Viking Age, Ålesund is renowned throughout Norway and beyond for its distinctive architecture. After a devastating fire destroyed much of the town in 1904, it was rebuilt in the popular Art Nouveau style. As we paddle along the waterfront, you’ll see elegant buildings and hear fascinating stories about the city’s history and heritage from our local guides.
