Get insight into remote coastal life as you visit a small island community
With a crew of experienced sailors, you’ll enjoy a relaxing cruise surrounded by spectacular coastal scenery. A true maritime relic, few vessels like this remain along Norway’s coastline. Even the distinctive sound of its engine has been known to spark memories and nostalgia among guests.
As you sail, look for majestic Sea Eagles, try your hand at catching crabs, and hear stories of Norway’s seafaring heritage. A highlight is passing Kjerringskrevet, a landmark that has guided sailors safely through these waters for generations.
You’ll also stop at Skjervøya, an island on the edge of the open sea that is home to just nine year-round residents. Accompanied by a local guide, you’ll learn about the island’s fishing traditions, storms, and shipwrecks.
Before returning, enjoy a taste of freshly caught crab—a fitting end to this memorable coastal adventure.
