See the renowned tafoni rock formations sculpted by wind, weather and salt.
The nearly 1-mile trail leads from central Bessaker to Storskardheia, which rises 531 feet above sea level. From the summit, enjoy stunning views of the surrounding landscape and your ship anchored in the distance.
Along the way, your local guide will share stories about the area’s history and people, while you enjoy a classic Norwegian hiking tradition—coffee and chocolate. You’ll also discover tafoni, remarkable rock formations shaped by wind, weather, and salt over thousands of years. Once sculpted by the sea, these formations reveal the story of a constantly changing landscape.
