Your guided walk begins along Tromsø’s historic waterfront, passing the old pier toward the Polar Museum, housed in a 19th-century warehouse. Inside, you’ll discover stories of Arctic trappers and legendary explorers Fridtjof Nansen and Roald Amundsen.
You’ll continue through the historic city center, passing Tromsø’s oldest guesthouse, its oldest street, and Amundsen’s former residence.
Next, visit Polaria, where you can observe Arctic seals, explore marine aquariums, and experience Arctic phenomena in the panoramic cinema.
On the return to the pier, you’ll stop at Helmer Hansen’s monument and Ølhallen, Tromsø’s oldest pub, where you can enjoy a complimentary Norwegian beer.
