The best option for guests with little or no experience skiing
From the ship, you’ll take a short bus transfer to the top of Tromsøya Island, where you’ll meet your experienced ski instructors. They’ll begin by teaching basic cross-country skiing techniques, including how to put on your skis and move across flat terrain.
Once you’re comfortable, you’ll follow your guides along groomed trails suitable for beginners. As your confidence grows, you’ll gradually learn additional techniques and may even try gentle inclines by the end of the session.
Along the way, you’ll pause for a warm drink and a traditional local pastry—an ideal break to rest and take in the Arctic surroundings.
