Your hike begins in the center of Bessaker and follows a trail that leads deep into a peaceful valley, passing through forested areas and open landscapes.
The route also runs alongside a tranquil river, offering a perfect place to pause and enjoy the sounds of nature. Upon reaching a gapahuk (a traditional Norwegian lean-to shelter), your guide will light a campfire where you’ll gather to enjoy freshly brewed coffee and sausages cooked over the fire.
Throughout the hike, your guide will share insights into local flora and fauna, as well as life in this remote coastal community of Norway.

Hike starts in Bessaker town center, approximately 1 mile (1.5 km) from the ship. A welcome delegation will guide guests into town upon arrival. Guests on hiking excursions are expected to walk this distance. Minibus transfer available if needed.
