A short bus ride brings you to Kirkenes’ famous Snowhotel, where you'll be outfitted with thermal clothing before joining a guided tour in small groups.
You’ll have the chance to meet the resident reindeer and huskies—perhaps even some playful puppies—and enjoy a dog sled ride through the Arctic wilderness. Depending on your group, the order of activities may vary.
When it’s your turn to ride, your eager husky team will be ready to lead the way. Each sled is operated by an experienced musher and accommodates up to two guests.
Sit back and enjoy the journey as you glide across frozen lakes, through snow-covered forests, and over gently rolling terrain. The route covers approximately 3.1 miles (5 km) and lasts about 20 minutes, offering a peaceful experience with little more than the sound of the sled runners on the snow.
Afterward, gather in the restaurant for a warming drink before returning to Kirkenes by bus.
