Enjoy a scenic bus tour that includes a trip around Molde, the so-called ‘City of Roses’.
Explore the Bergtatt marble and limestone mine alongside experienced guides.
Sail in rafts on a crystal-clear lake and sample the pure spring water.
See the underground restaurant and try a local dish in this unique setting.
From Kristiansund, you’ll travel to Bergtatt, where your guides will provide safety equipment and a briefing before leading you into the atmospheric marble caves. Mining has taken place here since 1938 and continues in other parts of the mountain today.
You’ll journey deep into the mountain and board rafts on an illuminated crystal-clear underground lake. As you glide across the calm water, you’ll pause to taste pure drinking water sourced directly from the rock face.
The experience continues in the Grand Hall, where a candlelit underground dining setting awaits. You’ll enjoy a warming meat and vegetable stew made with local ingredients while learning more about the marble mine through an engaging short film.
After emerging back into daylight, you’ll board your bus for a short scenic tour of Molde before returning to your ship.
