Senja Scenic Route by Bus

From the ship, your bus winds its way along the ridge above the village of Bergsbotn. Here, you can step onto a 144-foot-long viewing platform and take in spectacular views of Bergsfjord and the surrounding peaks.

Next, you’ll visit the Tungenes rest area, perched at the tip of the headland between Steinfjord and Ersfjord. Stroll along the wooden walkway that extends over the rocks and enjoy views of the Norwegian Sea to the west and the dramatic Okshornan mountains to the north.

Your final stop is Ersfjordstranda, a stunning crescent of pristine white sand framed by jagged peaks. This is Norway at its most beautiful. Before returning to the bus, be sure to check out the famous gold-plated restroom.
