  • Enjoy a bus tour along the 100km-long Senja National Scenic Route

  • Discover the natural treasures of Senja, often nicknamed “the fairytale island”

  • Pause at viewpoints to photograph soaring mountain peaks, deep-blue fjords, and one of Norway’s most beautiful beaches

Stretching for over 100 km, the Senja National Scenic Route offers a journey through a kaleidoscope of changing landscapes.

From the ship, we’ll wind our way along the ridge above the village of Bergsbotn. Here, you can step out on to a 44m-long platform, from where you can soak up jaw-dropping vistas of the Bergsfjord and the surrounding peaks.

Next, we’ll head to the Tungenes rest area, perched at the tip of the headland between Steinfjord and Ersfjord. Take a stroll along the wooden walkway that leads out over the rocks to enjoy views of the North Sea to the west and the razor-sharp Okshornan mountains to the north.

Our final stop is Ersfjordstranda, a stunning arc of pristine white sand. Set against a backdrop of jagged peaks, this is Norway at its most beautiful. And be sure to check out the gold-plated toilet block before heading back to the bus!
