Board MS Symra—a classic 39-foot (12 m) fishing cutter dating back to 1917—for an authentic taste of Lofoten’s fishing traditions. This excursion is suitable for all experience levels.
Under the guidance of a professional crew, you'll use traditional jigging reels to fish for species such as pollock, haddock, and mackerel. Between February and April, you may also have the opportunity to catch skrei (Arctic cod), one of Norway’s most prized seasonal fish.
No two fishing trips are alike. The day’s route depends on weather conditions and where the fish are most active.
Whether you're an experienced angler or a first-timer, this is a memorable opportunity to connect with nature, learn about Norway’s coastal culture, and experience a fishing tradition that has sustained local communities for generations.
