Cruise Overview

10-day expedition cruise taking in Iceland, Jan Mayen and Spitsbergen

Expedition cruise starting in Reykjavík, exploring rarely visited Arctic islands before sailing to the Svalbard archipelago and disembarking in Longyearbyen.

Explore Iceland's remote villages and towns before cruising to the volcanic island of Jan Mayen and onto Northwest Spitsbergen National Park.

See fjords, waterfalls, volcanoes and glaciers, and seek out Arctic wildlife like reindeer and puffins on one awe-inspiring cruise.

‘Land of Ice and Fire’

Your Arctic Islands expedition cruise begins in Reykjavík, Iceland’s capital. First, you’ll sail to beautiful Patreksfjörður, where you’ll be captivated by stunning scenery. Next, we’ll explore Akureyri and its surrounding landscapes before seeking out Atlantic puffins and crossing the Arctic Circle on the island of Grímsey.

Arctic highlights

Your cruise continues to the isolated island of Jan Mayen, home to an active volcano, marine wildlife, and many thousands of birds. From here, we sail farther north into the Arctic to the Svalbard archipelago. Experience rugged fjords and towering mountains in Northwest Spitsbergen National Park before your cruise ends in Longyearbyen.
