From Honningsvåg, you’ll travel by bus beyond the 71st parallel to North Cape, a dramatic clifftop plateau rising 1,007 feet (307 m) above the Arctic Ocean. Take in the stark beauty of the landscape as you stand at continental Europe’s northernmost point, gazing across the sea toward the North Pole. The iconic globe monument marks the location and provides an unforgettable photo opportunity.
In summer, you may spot herds of reindeer grazing on the surrounding plateaus. During winter, pristine snow-covered plains and rugged mountains reflect the soft Arctic light, creating a truly magical setting.
You’ll also visit North Cape Hall, where a spectacular 180-degree panoramic film showcases the region through all four seasons. Explore exhibits in the underground tunnel, visit the world’s northernmost chapel, browse the museum, and stop by the souvenir shop before returning to the ship.
