Learn the best fishing techniques, and with luck, catch a few trout or Arctic char.
Enjoy the taste of your own freshly caught fish back at the restaurant, a traditional
lavvo
tent.
Think fishing is only a summer activity? Think again.
This authentic Arctic experience begins with a short snowshoe hike to a frozen lake. Equipped with an ice drill, fishing rods, bait, warm clothing, reindeer skins for seating, and a hot drink, you’ll head out in search of trout or Arctic char beneath the ice.
Your guide will demonstrate how to drill through the ice and share proven techniques for attracting fish in these unique conditions.
After time on the ice, you’ll return to a traditional lavvo tent restaurant, where you can warm up by the fire and enjoy the day’s catch, freshly prepared by local chefs.
