See some of Norway’s most beautiful beaches and get to know the people and ways of an island community.
Spot migratory birds and perhaps even a sea eagle.
Learn about the unique production of eider down and seaweed on Selvær.
From Husøya, you’ll sail to Sanna, where hikers will disembark before continuing their trek.
On the way to Selvær, you’ll pass the islands of Sandøy and Holmen—remote, peaceful communities known for their beaches, old harbors, and abundant birdlife. Your guide will share stories about island life as you take in the scenery.
Selvær, the second-largest island in the Træna archipelago, is home to around 50 residents and a strong tradition of eider duck down harvesting. In spring, locals also harvest seaweed by hand. Enjoy coffee or tea and a local specialty before returning via Sanna to Husøya, with time to further explore on foot.
