How it works

Departing the port by bus, your first stop is the Museum of Reconstruction for Finnmark and Northern Troms, where you'll gain insight into the remarkable rebuilding efforts that transformed Northern Norway after World War II.

Next, visit the Meridian Column, Hammerfest’s UNESCO World Heritage Site. This monument marks the northernmost survey point of the Struve Geodetic Arc, a groundbreaking scientific project that helped determine the exact size and shape of the Earth.

Your final stop is Mount Salen. As you ascend, your guide will share stories of Hammerfest’s unique history. At the summit, enjoy beautiful views over the town, surrounding islands, and Arctic coastline.
