Visit Senja, the second largest island in Norway, often called “the fairytale island”
Listen to stories about the local people in Hamn
Before setting out, you’ll enjoy a short storytelling session introducing the coastal communities that have long called Hamn home.
You’ll then head out by boat across turquoise waters, weaving between lush islands and white coral beaches. This stretch of coastline—on Norway’s second-largest island—is often referred to as the “Caribbean of the North.” Along the way, keep an eye out for sea eagles, seals, and large colonies of cormorants.
In the evening, the light here is extraordinary. During summer, the Midnight Sun hangs low over a horizon of islands and reefs, creating one of Norway’s most unforgettable coastal scenes.
