Try a new adventure sport as you learn to kayak in a Norwegian fjord
Immerse yourself in the natural beauty of the Lofoten archipelago
Learn about the area’s nature, history, and culture from an expert local guide
After a safety briefing and equipment fitting, you’ll set out with your guide into the sheltered waters of Reinefjord. Paddle around small islands, pass rows of bright-red rorbuer (traditional fishermen’s cabins), and experience the unmistakable scent of skrei cod drying along the shore.
As you glide through the crystal-clear waters, your guide will share stories about the area’s history, culture, and nature. Watch for schools of fish below and seabirds above. If conditions are favorable, you may even get the chance to sample edible seaweed, often referred to as the “truffle of the sea.”
