Be guided and informed by knowledgeable local guides
See Viking graves and discover more about Viking history.
From Bodø, your guides will lead you along shoreline trails and across sandy beaches, sharing the town’s history and pointing out local wildlife along the way. Perhaps you’ll spot an eagle soaring over the sea, or even an Arctic fox searching for food.
The coastline here is also rich in Viking heritage. Many Viking graves have been discovered over the years, appearing as quiet grassy mounds that conceal centuries of Nordic history. Your guides know exactly where to find them.
A deep connection with nature is woven into Norwegian culture, captured by the word *friluftsliv*, a Norwegian expression meaning “outdoor life.” As you listen to the waves and feel the fresh sea air, you’ll gain a greater appreciation for this uniquely Scandinavian way of life.
