Explore Bergen, the Gateway to the Fjords. Wander Bryggen’s colorful wharves, explore cobbled lanes, visit the Fish Market, or ride the Fløibanen for panoramic views across the city and fjords.

Ride the Flåm Railway past waterfalls, deep valleys, and quiet farms to Myrdal, then continue on the scenic Bergen Railway through mountains, forests, and fjords – one of Norway’s most unforgettable journeys.

Fly north from Oslo to Kirkenes, deep inside the Arctic Circle. Arrive in a frontier town shaped by wild landscapes and border cultures, where Norway meets the edge of the Far North.

Sail The Coastal Express from Kirkenes to Bergen through Arctic fjords, fishing towns and starlit seas – tracing Norway’s wild, storied coast towards gentler southern shores.

Mark the moment you cross south from the Arctic with stories, ceremonies and the glow of coastal light shifting across sea and sky – a farewell to the polar world.

Enter the narrow Trollfjord, where sheer cliffs rise on either side and waterfalls plunge from mountain ledges – a moment of pure drama in Norway’s untamed, elemental heart.

Sail through the Lofoten and Vesterålen archipelagos – a dreamscape of peaks, Sea Eagles and quiet harbours – where mountains rise sheer from the sea like sleeping giants.

Cruise past mythic peaks like the Seven Sisters and Torghatten’s hollow heart – landscapes woven with legend, glinting under the soft Nordic light that defines Norway’s southern shores.

At Aalan, you’ll learn all about the reality of farm life. You’ll have the chance to taste cheeses, herbs, and other products that they make from scratch. You can also meet the farm’s goats, dogs, cats, miniature pigs, ducks, and chickens. If you’re lucky, their free-range cow Victoria might also make an appearance.

Starting in Stamsund, this excursion will take you on a tour of Kabelvåg, one of Lofoten’s oldest fishing villages. Our first stop is Torvdalshalsen, a rest stop with gorgeous views across the fjord. Here, we’ll visit Galleri Espolin, which has the largest collection of the work of beloved artist Kaare Espolin Johnson. Close to the gallery lies the Lofoten Museum, where you can learn about local fishing history.
Kabelvåg’s origins may stretch back to the medieval town Vågar. In the center of the village, you will find the main building, which dates back to 1815, and Vågan Church, also known as the Lofoten Cathedral. We’ll share traditional coffee and cake with her here. If you’d like, take time to explore outside. Head to the shore and scan the beautiful bay to spot the famous Torghatten mountain.
When we’ve cycled back to the pier, we’ll have earned a taste of what is reputedly the best soft-serve ice cream in the world!

On the scenic drive there, we’ll hear all about the history and modern life of Brønnøysund and the Helgeland region. When we arrive at Torghatten, we’ll follow a narrow footpath along the seashore and, after a short walk, wander through the awe-inspiring hole, which is 525 ft long, 115 ft high, and 50–65 ft wide. We’ll head to the heart of the mountain and board rafts on the illuminated crystal-clear lake. As we glide along the calm water, we’ll stop to get a taste of the pure water that springs from the rock wall.
Then, our guides will lead us to the Grand Hall for a unique subterranean dining experience. Seated at the candlelit tables, you’ll feast on a warming meat and vegetable stew made from local ingredients. In this magical atmosphere, we’ll watch a fascinating film about the marble mine.

One of the most unique ways to see the sights of Trondheim is by exploring its waterways. This gentle activity is great fun for families and suitable even for those who have never kayaked before.

Once on the river, we glide downstream through scenic surroundings, passing colorful wooden wharf buildings before paddling into the city’s narrower canals. Here, you’ll get a chance to see some of the most famous landmarks, like Nidaros Cathedral, Kristiansten Fortress on a nearby hilltop, and the popular Marinen Park.
The river Nid is also known to be a great fishing spot. You’ll have no trouble finding trout throughout the river—you might even come across salmon in the lower reaches. Every year, salmon here are caught that can weight more than 44 pounds!
