Experience the iconic Trollstigen Pass on this guided bus tour, with dramatic hairpin turns winding through lush valleys and majestic mountains.

Highlights

Drive the world-famous series of 11 hairpin bends, known as the Trollstigen Road (Path of the Trolls).

Admire soaring mountain peaks, unspoiled valleys, and some of Norway’s most iconic sights.

Pause at viewpoints to photograph Europe’s highest vertical mountain wall, impressive mountains, and a beautiful waterfall.

How it works

The village of Åndalsnes, known as Norway’s mountaineering capital, is your starting point. This region is home to one of Europe’s most scenic rail journeys and one of the world’s most spectacular hikes, according to Lonely Planet, so prepare for unforgettable scenery.

Your bus follows the Rauma River, framed by towering mountains including 5,000-foot (1,500 m) Mount Romsdalshorn on one side and 5,100-foot (1,550 m) Trolltindane on the other. Your first photo stop offers views of the dramatic Troll Wall.

Next, you’ll cross Sogge Bridge into the Isterdal Valley, flanked by peaks named The King, The Queen, and The Bishop, before approaching the famous hairpin bends of the Trollstigen Road.

The journey continues with a stop at Stigfossen Waterfall before ascending to Trollstigen viewpoint. You can take in the scenery from the bus or join an optional short walk to another viewing platform. From there, you’ll slowly descend the iconic Trollstigen hairpin road before returning to your ship.
