Setting off from Tromsø in the morning aboard a specially designed, hybrid-electric boat, you’ll make the most of the short Arctic winter days. As you head towards the whale-watching area, you can marvel at the outstanding scenery of rugged fjords and snow-covered mountains. And if you’re feeling the chill, you can relax in the warm lounges that boast panoramic views.
As the crew scan the seas, expert guides will show you around the area, highlighting points of interest and telling you all about the Arctic whales that call this beautiful part of the world home.
When they spot one of the magnificent creatures, the captain will switch to the silent electric engine, keeping disturbance to a minimum. You’ll then be immersed in serenity as you marvel at Arctic whales like orcas and humpbacks.
