  • Tour the attractive fishing towns of Kristiansund and Molde

  • Ride along the world-renowned Atlantic Road in the county of Romsdal

  • Discover the impressive 17th century Kvernes Stave Church

  • Enjoy a traditional local dish, bacalao, at a charming restaurant

Your guided bus tour begins with a short drive through picturesque Kristiansund before crossing to Averøy island. This is the gateway to the Atlantic Road, widely celebrated as the world's best road trip.

Stretching over 8 kilometres along a dramatic coastline, the road zigzags across a series of bridges linking small islands and islets in a truly remarkable feat of engineering and scenery combined.

You’ll stop at Kvernes Stave Church to admire sweeping fjord views and peek inside its beautifully preserved baroque interior. Then you’ll settle into a cosy tavern for a bowl of bacalao – made from the region's famous klippfisk (salted and dried cod), this hearty stew is influenced by Mediterranean recipes and is a result of extensive trading with southern Europe in the 19th century.

Your tour ends with a gentle drive through Molde, the City of Roses, where you'll rejoin the ship.
