Most of Ålesund was destroyed in 1904 when a devastating fire ravaged the town. It was then rebuilt in the fashionable style of the time, Art Nouveau. You’ll see plenty of ornate buildings dotted along the waterside as the guides tell stories about the town’s history.
We’ll meet our guides in the city centre and get kitted out with all the necessary gear. After receiving a safety briefing, we paddle out on the water for an unforgettable tour of the town, stopping off at several points for photo opportunities.

Level 1 = Easy: suitable for most
Excursions at this level are physically undemanding and suitable for most people. Level 2 = Moderate: some mobility needed
Excursions in this category involve a small amount of physical activity, but on easy terrain with few major challenges. Level 3 = Active: good mobility needed
