No – we are not currently adding a fuel surcharge to our itineraries.

Our terms include a standard industry clause that allows for price adjustments if there are significant changes in fuel or energy costs. That said, this is rarely used and only applies in specific, regulated circumstances.  

Our focus is always on keeping pricing fair and transparent, so you can feel comfortable booking with us. If any change were ever necessary, we would let you know in advance and explain your options clearly.

If you are unable to travel due to a government-issued travel ban, please contact us as soon as possible before your departure so we can assist you with your options.

If your flights are booked with us, we will make alternative arrangements for you should you need to amend your travel plans due to a travel ban affecting your trip. This applies where restrictions impact your departure point, any transit location, or your final destination.

If you have booked cruise only with us, we will only be able to assist with rebooking the cruise element of your trip.

If your booking with Hurtigruten includes flights via Dubai (DXB) or Doha (DOH) that have been cancelled, please contact us directly to discuss the available options.

No – we have not made any changes to any of our itineraries because of any current global events or conflicts.

All our cruises operate exclusively in Norway, sailing from ports in Norway and Germany. Given our Northern European itineraries, we do not currently anticipate any impact or future amendments.

Yes – Norway is consistently recognised as one of the safest and most stable destinations in the world (https://hellosafe.com/travel-insurance/safest-countries-in-the-world). As all our cruises take place exclusively along its coastline and into the Arctic, we do not currently anticipate any impact on our sailings.

Your safety and wellbeing always remain our highest priority, and we continuously monitor relevant global events and follow guidance from appropriate authorities. If a government-issued travel ban affects your ability to travel and your flights are booked with us, we will make alternative arrangements for you should you need to amend your travel plans.

For voyage-only bookings, we will be able to assist with rebooking the cruise element of your trip.
