Each Cruise & Tour itinerary clearly sets out your voyage, accommodation, transfers, activities, meals and other inclusions. Some tour packages may also include flights. You can also choose your cabin type and add optional excursions and food and drink packages for the on board part of your adventure.

On board, Hurtigruten’s relaxed small ships offer plenty of opportunities to meet fellow travellers, alongside quiet spaces where you can enjoy the journey at your own pace.
On a Guided Tour, you travel with a group and an expert tour leader who adds local insight, answers questions and manages the details, with private transport for the land-based journey. On a Self-guided Tour, you follow an expertly planned itinerary independently, with more freedom to shape your days and access to 24-hour support while you travel.
Activity levels vary by itinerary. Some tours include more active experiences, such as hiking or husky sledding, while others include gentler rail journeys, sightseeing and scenic travel, or a mix of both. You can also choose to add optional excursions during your voyage to suit your interests and fitness level.
Cruise & Tour itineraries cannot be customised, although you can usually choose to add optional excursions to your voyage, depending on your itinerary. Selected journeys may be extended with an available pre- or post-voyage programme.
We recommend booking as early as possible, particularly for peak travel periods, limited departures and popular accommodation. Booking ahead gives you the widest choice of dates, cabins and tour availability.
