Important information
Show up at least 15 minutes before departure To avoid delays, all guests must be ready for boarding no later than 15 minutes before departure in all ports. You need to be in the terminal no later than 30 minutes before departure if you board the ship in Bergen, and 1 hour if you board in Geiranger.
Traveling with a vehicle? To book a space, contact our team via phone or email. Note that car spaces are limited, and caravans/motorhomes are not permitted. Cars with LPG/CNG gas are not permitted, even if empty. Bicycles/canoes cost NOK 250 extra per unit, payable at onboard reception during check-in.

Alternative pier in Ålesund on 24 June, 02 and 06 July 2026
On 24 June 2026, MS Nordlys will be docked at Storneskaia during the morning call (09:45–10:00), and at its regular pier (Skansekaia) during the evening call (19:00-20:00).
On 02 July 2026, MS Kong Harald will be docked at Storneskaia for both the morning (09:45-10:00) and the evening (19:00-20:00) call.
On 06 July 2026, MS Nordkapp will be docked at the regular pier (Skansekaia) during the morning (09:45-10:00) call and at Storneskaia during the evening call (19:00-20:00).
The walking distance between Skansekaia and Storneskaia is approximately 1 km (around 10–15 minutes).
