  • Enjoy a self-drive husky sled ride near Tromsø

  • Admire winter landscapes from forests and fjords to snow-covered mountains

  • Keep on the look-out for an appearance of the aurora borealis

  • Enjoy a hot drink and homemade cake served in a traditional Sámi gamme

Our dog-sledding tour departs from Tromsø harbour, where you will be picked up for a scenic 50-minute bus transfer to our camp in Breivikeidet, situated in a picturesque valley close to the sea. Friendly staff will welcome you on arrival, walk you through the safety basics, and show you how to handle the sled.

Then it's your turn. You'll take the reins and drive your own team of huskies for around 1km, with a guide stop along the way for photos – before swapping places with your fellow passenger for the return leg.

Back at camp, you’ll get the chance to strengthen your bond with your husky sled team, giving and receiving all the cuddles you can handle. Afterwards, you’ll be invited inside to learn more about the dogs from our knowledgeable guides over some hot drinks and cake.

Once you wave one last goodbye to the huskies, you’ll be driven back to Tromsø with an experience of a lifetime behind you and spectacular photos to show for it!
