This is a guided tour with a theatrical twist. From the pier, you'll be lead on a 30-minute stroll through the south of Tromsø city centre – guided by none other than Ludwig Mack himself, the brewery's founder, brought to life for the occasion.
Founded in 1877 and still family owned, Mack is one of Norway's largest brewers and long held the title of the world's northernmost brewery. At the brewery, the actors hand you over for a tour of the historic venue, a look at the brewing process, and a tasting of the craft beers still brewed on site in the microbrewery.
Afterwards, those who wish can continue at Ølhallen – Mack's own brewpub and Tromsø's oldest pub, with 72 Norwegian beers on tap.
