MS Finnmarken

The ship was built in 2002 and underwent renovation in 2020. She sailed under the name MS Otto Sverdrup from 2021 to 2025. 

MS Finnmarken has 279 cabins (including 23 suites), with a maximum capacity of 526 guests. 

We Norwegians are down-to-earth people. We don’t believe in dress codes on board, so wear your hiking shoes to dinner or your slippers to breakfast if you want – it’s up to you! 

Yes, there is a nurse on board and our crew members are trained to handle medical emergencies. A doctor is present during the North Sea crossing from mainland Norway to Hamburg.
