Next, you'll explore the acclaimed Nordvegen History Centre, where immersive exhibits bring to life the mighty Viking rulers who shaped Scandinavia’s fate. Myth and reality intertwine as you uncover the dramatic story of Norway’s past.
Cross a footbridge to the island of Bukkøy and enter a reconstructed Viking farm. Here, costumed guides will transport you to the Viking Age, revealing the harsh beauty of daily life – from fascinating beliefs and survival tactics to family life, farming, and ancient craftsmanship.
The tour concludes with a guided bus ride back to Kopervik, giving you time to reflect on a day steeped in saga, storytelling and stunning landscapes.
