Set out from Rosendal on a thrilling RIB (rigid inflatable boat) journey into the heart of Hardangerfjord's dramatic fjord landscape. Travelling close to the water, you'll experience the full beauty of the fjord as steep mountains rise directly from the shoreline and waterfalls tumble down from high above.

Your route takes you through Kvinnheradsfjord and into the spectacular Maurangsfjord, one of the most striking branches of Hardangerfjord. As the scenery grows ever more dramatic, you'll pass small settlements tucked beneath towering cliffs and gain a new appreciation for life along Norway's western coast.

One of the highlights is Furebergsfossen, a powerful waterfall that plunges into the fjord below. Here, you'll pause to take in the sight, hear the roar of the water and feel the cool spray drifting through the air. Further into the fjord, views open towards Bondhusbreen, a glacier arm of Folgefonna National Park. On clear days, the contrast between deep blue water, green mountainsides, snow-covered peaks and brilliant white ice creates an unforgettable panorama.

Throughout the excursion, your guide shares stories of local communities, folklore and the natural forces that have shaped this landscape over thousands of years. On the return journey, you'll pass the small island of Sild before cruising back towards Rosendal through ever-changing fjord scenery.
