The best way to experience Bergen is on foot – and this leisurely guided walk takes you through the heart of the city at a comfortable pace.

Starting at Tollboden, the route passes the theatre, the beautiful city park and its adjoining art museums. You’ll then continue through historic streets and alleys towards Bryggen – the UNESCO-listed Hanseatic Wharf that has defined Bergen's waterfront for centuries.

Here, we visit the Schøtstuen Assembly Rooms – the old meeting and dining halls of the Hanseatic merchants before continuing past St Mary's Church and along the colourful streets of one of Norway's most atmospheric city centres.

The tour ends in Bryggen, where you're welcome to continue exploring the city independently before making your own way back to the ship.
