Svalbard is exotic, inviting, and exciting, and has unique experiences for visitors whatever the time of year. This arctic archipelago is also home to Hurtigruten Svalbard, which has over 30 years’ experience in the region. We offer a range of experiences all year round, from simple trips for everyone to challenging excursions for the most adventurous travellers, with our knowledgeable local guides. We also offer a number of overnight accommodation options, including the world’s most northern hotel, Radisson Blu Polar Hotel Spitsbergen, and our boutique hotel, Funken Lodge.

We are also pioneers in sustainable Arctic tourism. In 2019, we became the only operator in Scandinavia to offer tours with fully electric snowmobiles. In addition, we are proud to announce the arrival of MS Bard, our specially designed hybrid electric catamaran, in the summer of 2021.
