This tour combines a Hurtigruten Signature cruise from Bergen to Longyearbyen with pre- and post-voyage land experiences. You’ll explore Svalbard, enjoy Arctic excursions, and travel through Norway’s fjord country by train – giving you the full land-and-sea experience.
No. This is a self-guided tour, designed for travellers who prefer to explore independently. All hotels, transfers and excursions are pre-arranged for you.
Your 8-day cruise from Bergen to Longyearbyen is all inclusive, with daily breakfast, lunch and dinner and unlimited beer, wine, spirits and soft drinks. On land, daily breakfast at your hotels is included as well as an Arctic tasting menu at Huset, and dinner and lunch at Funken Lodge.
International flights are not included. But all transfers listed in your itinerary – including between hotels, airports and the ship – are included once your tour begins.
Your package includes a two-night stay at Funken Lodge in Longyearbyen, along with one night each in Flåm, Bergen, and Oslo at 4-star hotels. On board, you’ll stay in the cabin category of your choice.
This tour includes a curated mix of Arctic and fjord experiences. In Svalbard, you will embark on a 6.5-hour Wilderness and Glacier Tour aboard the hybrid electric catamaran MS Bard. You will also travel along the iconic Norway in a Nutshell route, which includes a ride on the Flåm Railway and a fjord cruise through the UNESCO listed Nærøyfjord.
During your Signature cruise, optional shore excursions are available to book at an additional cost.
Unfortunately, this tour is not recommended for guests who use a wheelchair or have limited mobility. Guests who can manage short walks and climb a few stairs should be able to participate in most activities comfortably. However, if a wheelchair is required, we do not recommend this tour.
