How it works

We begin our hike by taking an old farm road and climbing the rugged pathway to the summit, ascending a stone stairway for the last 500 metres. On reaching the top, we’ll be greeted by the stunning view.

We continue following the trail up the hill to see the village of Sæbø, where we’ll explore an abandoned bear cave.

Before descending, we take a coffee break in the Leknes valley, soaking up the breathtaking views of the fjord arm and mountains. Taking the same road back, we’ll stop off at the local grocers before rejoining the ship.
