How it works

Departing from Kopervik, the bus first calls at the charming seaside town of Åkrehamn. It’s a place offering serene coastal views where you can breathe in the fresh sea air and feel the essence of Norwegian coastal life. The sandy white Åkrandsen beach here has been voted the best in Norway several times – and a visit makes it easy to see why.

Your next stop is a step back in time in the enchanting town of Skudeneshavn. Famous for its lovely white wooden houses and rich maritime heritage, you’ll feel drawn to wander through its narrow streets and absorb its timeless charm. With its compact layout, Skudeneshavn is easy to navigate, making it ideal for guests with limited mobility.

On your final stop you’ll discover for yourself the mystical atmosphere at St. Olav's Church at Avaldsnes. Located on the historic site of King Harald Fairhair's royal seat, feel the rich history and spiritual ambiance of this famed church. See for yourself the ancient standing stone in the graveyard, and learn about the importance of this historical Viking stronghold.

After finishing at the church, the bus returns to Kopervik with guided commentary along the way.
