How it works

Experience the spectacular beauty of Lustrafjorden from the water on an unforgettable guided RIB safari.

After a short walk from the pier, guests receive a safety briefing and are equipped with flotation suits and life jackets before boarding the RIB. Accompanied by an experienced local guide, the journey takes you through one of the most beautiful branches of the Sognefjord.

The route passes dramatic mountains, cascading waterfalls and small communities nestled along the shoreline. Throughout the excursion, the guide shares stories about local history, life along the fjord and the unique natural environment that has shaped this remarkable landscape.

Along the way, there are several opportunities to slow down for photographs and to admire the spectacular scenery. Depending on conditions, wildlife such as seals, porpoises or seabirds may also be spotted.

Travelling by RIB allows guests to experience the fjord from a unique perspective, getting close to nature while covering a large area in a relatively short time.

This excursion is ideal for guests seeking a scenic and memorable fjord adventure with a combination of nature, local knowledge and gentle excitement.
