Interior and Cabins

Her bright interiors are appointed in a classic Art Deco style. Like all Hurtigruten Expeditions ships, MS Maud is an environmentally progressive vessel, with further plans to continue making improvements in an effort to reduce emissions and fuel consumption.

Explorer lounge & bar

Situated at the front of the ship, the explorer bar and lounge provides a relaxing environment to unwind at the end of an adventurous day. With its floor-to-ceiling windows providing panoramic views of the breathtaking landscapes, this is the ideal spot to enjoy a drink prepared by our highly skilled and friendly bartenders.

The Science Center

Unlock your inner scientist! Found on deck 5, the Science Center is a hive of active research, analysis, and learning. Throughout your voyage, there will be multiple opportunities to get involved with Citizen Science projects and build a better understanding of the destinations we explore.

Lindstrøm

Adolf Lindstrøm was the chef on Otto Sverdrup and Roald Amundsen's legendary Arctic and Antarctic expeditions. Named in his honour, Lindstrøm is our gourmet speciality restaurant onboard. Bringing a contemporary twist to fine dining, the restaurant serves exquisite meals prepared by our skilled chefs.

Fredheim

Bringing a relaxing atmosphere in which to recharge between excursions or at the end of the day, Fredheim is a great meeting place onboard. Named after the 1900s hunting station on Svalbard, Fredheim offers an informal dining experience - including the legendary milkshakes!

Aune

Named after the Norwegian ship dealer and polar expedition supplier Tinus Aune, this is our main dining room onboard MS Maud. Offering a buffet breakfast through to a set menu at dinner, Aune serves fresh produce reflecting the destinations we visit and our Norwegian heritage.

Wellness

Following a day of exciting exploration and adventure, we have many ways to unwind. Relax under the stars in one of our two hot tubs, or take in the scenery from within our sauna, offering a unique opportunity to recharge. Whilst for those who like to keep in shape for upcoming adventures, you are invited to take full advantage of our onboard gym.

Polar Inside

Our cozy Polar Inside cabins are located on all decks. All cabins include bathrooms with a shower/toilet. Most cabins have separate beds, with one doubling as a sofa. Others are equipped with upper and lower berths. All cabins have individual specifications.

These comfortable, standard inside cabins for up to four people on the lower deck have separate beds, one of which converts into a sofa. All cabins have private bathrooms.
