What’s the difference between this tour and a Hurtigruten cruise-only voyage?
This is a guided land and sea tour through Sweden, Finland and Norway. Alongside your Hurtigruten cruise, you’ll stay in 4-star hotels and Midnight Sun cabins, travel by train and coach, and join guided tours and experiences such as city sightseeing, husky safaris, and photography expeditions.
It’s more than just a cruise - it's a complete Arctic summer adventure.
Is this a guided tour?
Yes, it is a partially guided tour. A dedicated English-speaking Tour Manager will travel with you from Day 1 to Day 8, before bidding farewell when you board the Hurtigruten ship.
What meals are included?
The cruise portion of the tour is full board, with daily breakfast, lunch and dinner served in the ship's main restaurant. On land, daily breakfast, plus two lunches and five dinners are included.
Drinks are not included unless otherwise stated, and all other meals are at your own expense.
What level of accommodation is included?
You’ll stay in 4-star standard hotels, including two nights in a Midnight Sun cabin designed to watch the endless daylight, and one overnight ferry from Stockholm to Helsinki in an outside cabin.
You’ll also stay five nights on board a Hurtigruten ship in a cabin category of your choice.
Are flights and airport transfers included?
Flights and airport transfers are not included. You’ll need to arrange your own travel to Stockholm at the start and from Bergen at the end.
Once the tour begins, all transfers listed in the itinerary are included.
What excursions are included?
This tour features a carefully chosen mix of experiences. You’ll hike with huskies, join a Midnight Sun photography expedition, and embark on guided city tours in Stockholm, Helsinki and Bergen. You’ll also visit Stockholm City Hall, Temppeliaukio Rock Church in Helsinki and Siida Museum in Finnish Lapland.
Optional shore excursions during your Hurtigruten cruise can be booked at an additional cost.
Is this tour suitable for guests with limited mobility?
Unfortunately, this tour is not recommended for guests who use a wheelchair or have limited mobility. Guests who can manage short walks and climb a few stairs should be able to join most activities comfortably. However, if a wheelchair is required, we would not recommend this particular tour.
