Important information
Show up at least 15 minutes before departure To avoid delays, all guests must be ready for boarding no later than 15 minutes before departure in all ports. You need to be in the terminal no later than 30 minutes before departure if you board the ship in Bergen, and 1 hour if you board in Geiranger.
Traveling with a vehicle? To book a space, contact our team via phone or email. Note that car spaces are limited, and caravans/motorhomes are not permitted. Cars with LPG/CNG gas are not permitted, even if empty. Bicycles/canoes cost NOK 250 extra per unit, payable at onboard reception during check-in.

MS Nordlys - Alternative pier in Ålesund on 24 June 2026
On 24 June 2026, MS Nordlys will be docked at an alternative pier in Ålesund between 09:45–10:00. The ship will be docked at Storneskaia, Ålesund.
The walking distance between Skansekaia and Storneskaia is approximately 1 km (around 10–15 minutes).
Additionally, during the evening visit to Ålesund, the ship will be docked at its regular pier, Skansekaia.
