Möt vår VD: Hedda Felin

Hedda blev CEO för Hurtigruten i mars 2021.

Hon inledde sin karriär som managementkonsult med ansvar för internationella projekt innan hon fortsatte till Statoil/Equinor. Hon har haft ett antal chefstjänster under 15 år, bland annat Head of CEO Office och Senior Vice President för UK Continental Shelf och ledande chefspositioner i globala verksamheter inom säkerhet, hållbarhet och verksamhetsdrift.

Hon har jobbat i Skandinavien, Frankrike, Storbritannien, Kina och Guinea. Hennes favoritresmål med Hurtigruten är rutten mellan Tromsø och Kirkenes som hon älskar för den orörda naturen och områdets fascinerande historia. Hon är också svag för Bremnes, Kvæfjord och södra Troms där hon kan se Hurtigruten passera Andøya.

Hedda studerade internationell politik och ledarskap på högt ansedda Institut d’Etudes Politques de Paris i Frankrike och talar flytande franska.

På fritiden älskar hon att segla och surfa på sommaren och att åka skidor och vandra på vintern. Hon gillar att spendera tid med familjen och är en engagerad idrottsförälder.

Hurtigruten 

Since 2025, Hurtigruten has been a completely independent company led by Felin, following the separation of the expedition cruise company HX from the Hurtigruten Group.  

Hurtigruten’s fleet consists of a total of ten ships, seven of which operate the classic Coastal Express route between Bergen and Kirkenes. 

She was also instrumental in the launch of the company’s signature voyages, including sailings from Oslo and Hamburg to the North Cape (the North Cape Line) with MS Trollfjord and MS Finnmarken, and summer sailings from Bergen to Svalbard (the Svalbard Line) with MS Trollfjord.

Education and Early Career 

Hedda holds a master’s degree in international politics and administration from Sciences Po in Paris.  

After completing her education, she began her career at Capgemini Consulting, where she primarily worked on international projects within the maritime sector, oil and gas, and global companies in Norway, Africa, and Asia. 

Equinor 

She then moved into the energy sector, working for over 14 years at Equinor (formerly Statoil). She held a number of leadership positions, including Director of the sales organization in Europe within the downstream segment, and Director of Global Safety and Sustainability. 

Felin’s final roles at Equinor included Senior Vice President (SVP) of international development and production, where she led Equinor’s operations in the United Kingdom, and later as head of the CEO’s office and advisor to the CEO.
