Consider a suite for your next cruise

Consider treating yourself to the experience of a suite when you book your next cruise.

Have you seen a lot of the world through cruise travel, or is it your first time on a ship? Either way, consider treating yourself to the luxury of a suite when you book your next cruise. Though any cabin can be a wonderful place to come back to after a day filled with excursions and learning experiences, a suite can add a little something extra to your trip. Especially if you're booking a romantic cruise with your adventurous other half, give some serious consideration to a suite. Some lines will even have periodic offers that will give you a certain amount of on board credit when you choose a suite - and whether you choose to use it on snacks or a dog sledding adventure is up to you.

Don't forego luxury

Even if you're an explorer at heart, there's no reason for you to rough it on a cruise. Have a look at what is often included with a suite on a cruise ship:

  • A greeting from the captain upon your arrival.
  • A welcome gift and drink in your suite waiting for you when you embark.
  • Optional breakfast served in your suite.
  • Complimentary beverages at lunch and dinner, which can include alcohol such as beer and wine.
  • Luxury touches like turn-down service, bath robes, slippers and bathroom amenities.

Keep adventure romantic

A suite is a chance for you and your partner to fulfill your desire to travel the world and see remarkable things and still have a romantic getaway. Some standard cabins have two twin beds instead of a bed you can share, for instance, which may not be quite what you want in terms of romance. You may also find yourselves very tired after a long day in an exotic destination, whether or not you anticipated that going into your cruise, and a suite is a very hospitable place to recharge - and even be brought breakfast right where you are.

If you're interested in finding the best deals on the kind of cruise you want to take, it's also a great idea to call and book a suite and ask what kinds of discounts or credits you may be able to obtain for doing so.
