A group of tourists on a snowshoeing excursion in Vesterålen, Norway
  • Try your hand at snowshoeing through a winter wonderland

  • Enjoy some tea and cake at Betty’s Tea Room, one of the only tea sommeliers in Norway

  • Discover unique creations at a local glass-blowing studio

After a short bus transfer to the trailhead, you’ll embark on a hike along the northwest side of Hadseløya, where breathtaking vistas of the sea and mountains await. There is a bus transfer to the trail head and the walk is on gentle and relatively flat terrain, and can be done in either snowshoes or regular hiking boots.

After walking for about 1 hour, we’ll enjoy a pit stop at Betty’s Tea Room – a real treat, as Betty is one of the few tea sommeliers in Norway. Enjoy a cup of something warm and a slice of local cake while soaking up the views of Lake Teigan. Also on the premises is Galleri Uver, run by glass artist Siv, where you can gain an insight into the creative world of glass blowing.
