Experience Eagle Road and Trollstigen Pass.
Visit Gudbrands Gorge, sculpted by the Valldøla River.
Enjoy a delicious dinner at a hotel in Molde.
You'll begin with a bus drive up winding Orneveien (Eagle Road), all the while taking in the magnificent scenery en route to Eidsdalsvatnet Lake. From there, you’ll descend back to sea level to take a picturesque ferry ride from Eidsdal to Linge.
Back on dry land, you'll pass through high-alpine areas to Gudbrandsjuvet (Gudbrands Gorge). The Valldøla River rushes through this 16-ft (5-m) narrow ravine, about 80 ft (25 m) high. You’ll see that the water has carved out deep potholes and intricate rock formations.
We’ll then go to another highlight of this trip: the series of 11 hairpin bends down steep Trollstigen Pass. At the bottom, it’s time for a hot drink and a bite to eat before we continue to the gentler landscape of Romsdalsfjord. The excursion rounds off with dinner at a hotel in Molde, the City of Roses, before returning to the ship.
