Itinerary

Day 1 – Flåm Mountain Railway and Voss village

The starting point of your tour is Bergen or Oslo train station. Board your train to Myrdal mountain station where you’ll switch to the Flåm Mountain Railway, considered one of the most iconic train journeys in Norway.

Spend the next hour gazing at the splendid scenery as the train descends the mountains into the valley. Along the way, we’ll make a short stop at Kjosfossen Waterfall for a photo opportunity. The small power station on the waterfall is what actually powers the Flåm Mountain Railway.

Once in the village of Flåm, you’ll be able to spend time at the Flåm Railway Museum before embarking on a two-hour cruise on Aurlandsfjord and UNESCO-protected Nærøyfjord. After landing at Gudvangen, a bus will bring us through Nærøydalen valley and up the mountain road to the village of Voss where you’ll spend the night. Voss is known in Norway for sports, such as skiing, mountain biking, and even a vertical wind tunnel. Or for something more relaxing, ask your hotel about the Voss Gondola up to Mount Hanguren.

Day 2 - Leaving Voss

After breakfast at your hotel in Voss, you’ll catch the train to Bergen or Oslo.
