The tour starts from the town of Honningsvåg, the main city in the North Cape Municipality. On this fun and tasty excursion, start by visiting the northernmost point of the European continental shelf – North Cape. It is located at 71° north and it is a natural highlight on the journey. Along the way, the route traverses a magnificent subarctic landscape. If you are lucky, you can spot grazing reindeer from April to October.

The North Cape plateau rises 1,014 feet out of the North Sea. Weather permitting, be sure to take a photo by the Globe after admiring the view. The visitor center, North Cape Hall, is a modern center where you can enjoy a movie in panoramic format about North Cape and the region throughout the four seasons. Inside the hall, there is a souvenir shop, an ecumenical chapel, and a Thai museum. The tour continues to the small little village of Sarnes. Here, you can enjoy fascinating Norwegian culture in a king crab camp. Meet and take pictures with the king of the Barents Sea, learn about this fascinating crustacean, and enjoy a delicious taste of king crab.

The crabs will be served in a traditional way, with soft bread, mayonnaise, and a slice of lemon. Coffee and tea will also be served.
