Chilkat’s channels
Take a transfer to the jetboat facility to meet your river captains. After a short briefing, you’ll head out onto the glacier-fed Chilkat River. Explore its many channels and look for wildlife like moose, bears, eagles, and swans. All the while, the expert naturalists will be providing commentary. After your inspiring tour, return to the jetboat landing and enjoy a snack and hot drinks by our campfire.
Practical information
Remarks/requirements: Waterproof jackets, windproof blankets, gloves, and earmuffs are included. A picnic lunch is provided. Restrooms are available at the pier and at the jetboat launch. We recommend wearing warm, weatherproof layers.
