Enjoy the beauty of St. Lucia on this scenic excursion. Marvel at the mountain and seaside landscapes of the island’s northern half. We begin by driving to the city of Castries before ascending to Morne Fortune for sweeping views of the city and its picturesque harbor. On a clear day, you can spot the neighboring island of Martinique. Drive past the official residence of the Governor General of St. Lucia and onto the Morne complex to see the Inniskilling Monument, erected to honor the British regiment that overtook the French in 1796. This site is also now home to the island’s A Level College (university prep school).

We continue with a drive along hillside communities, leading to a viewpoint that overlooks the Marquis Estate, once the largest banana plantation on the island. Then it’s on to views of Rodney Bay and Pigeon Island before stopping at Stony Hill, a private home. The homeowners will welcome you and guide you on a walk of the grounds, which include amazing views and spectacular gardens. Enjoy a cool refreshment and freshly made snacks before returning to your ship.
