Admire the scenic beauty of Kodiak Island as you embark on an in-depth tour of the many points of interest in and around the city of Kodiak, the first Russian settlement in Alaska.

View cannery row and the boat harbor on your drive into the city. Photo opportunities abound as you explore the area, influenced by Native American and Russian ancestry. Stop at the Kodiak History Museum, offering a mixture of Native, Russian, and American history. Then visit the Alutiiq Museum to gain a more in depth look at Alaska Native culture.

After a short drive north, enjoy sweeping views from Fort Abercrombie, a historic defense installation for the North Pacific during World War II. The site offers a bunker museum of wartime memorabilia as well as beautiful views of both land and sea.
