Day 1: Arrive in Anchorage

Spend the night at a hotel in charming Anchorage.

Day 2: Anchorage to Denali National Park

You will travel from Anchorage to Denali National Park in a deluxe dome railcar, enjoying panoramic views across three striking mountain ranges. At more than six million acres, Denali is one of the world’s greatest wildlife preserves. When we reach the park, you can join an optional adventure or simply soak in the views. We will spend the night in a nearby lodge.

Day 3: Discover Denali National Park

Travel deep into Denali National Park today on the Tundra Wilderness Bus and search the vast wilderness for bears, moose, caribou, and Dall sheep. This journey will last between five and six hours. It is narrated to provide unique insight into the animals, as well as the flora and fauna of this spectacular region. With your guide, you will also explore Denali National Park during a two-mile hike. A snack will be provided on the tour. Please note that the tour duration may vary due to the weather and road conditions. Stay overnight at a lodge at the Denali Park entrance. We recommend you bring your own refillable water bottles. You may find water stations along the way.

Day 4: Denali National Park to Anchorage

On the way back to Anchorage, we will stop at Happy Trails Kennel, home to dozens of sled dogs. They will be very happy to meet you! Take a virtual trip along the Iditarod trail, watch a dog sled demonstration, and get in some quality puppy playtime. Enjoy a light packed lunch before we return to Anchorage, where your expedition begins.

Please note that the order of sites we visit may vary.
